Quick Talk AAC is a new Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) app available on both iOS and Android. Quick Talk was designed with a simple mission - to change the world by giving a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves. Our goal is to make it as quick as possible for you to talk. We made this app as mobile, simple, and flexible as possible, so for one small fee you can have everything you need to communicate. Don't spend your time setting up; spend your time talking!

With the increase of diagnoses of autism, down syndrome, and other special needs, there is a huge need for an assistive technology that can equip those who are non-verbal with the ability to communicate. Typical AAC devices and apps are either too expensive or too complicated. We have set out to change this by providing an affordable solution to everyone with access to a phone. We developed Quick Talk AAC with the advice and guidance from parents, teachers, speech therapists, and individuals who are non-verbal to pack it full of features, while keeping simplicity and cost in mind. The outcome is a one-of-a-kind app that we believe will change many lives.

Mobility

A great communication device needs to fit in a pant pocket or purse and also have the ability to be used on larger devices. With Quick Talk you can go anywhere with your child, whip out your phone or tablet, and have communication at the speed of life.

Simplicity

When you are on the move at or away from home, you can't have software developed for those with computer science degrees. Setting it up ought to be easy, since the life of a special needs family is already complicated. You also don't need software capable of giving a college lecture. Quick Talk allows for quick and functional conversation, when you are on the move.

Quick Navigation

There are multiple ways to navigate Quick Talk: swiping left-right switches categories, swiping up-down switches between phrases. You can also use the arrow buttons for those who have trouble with swiping.

Personalize Options

Every button can be personalized completely. With one click of the gears you are able to quickly set up each button the way you want it to be so that you have all the phrases you need, when you need them.

Audio

Quick Talk uses high-quality text-to-speech voices so that all you need to do is type what you want to say and you are ready. You can also record your own audio for the personal touch.

Picture Selection

You can choose to personalize each button with one of the included 11,000 symbols or you can also take a picture from your device's camera directly into Quick Talk.

Tablets

For those who enjoy the larger tablet-size devices, Quick Talk works great with the iPad and all Android tablets, including the Galaxy Tab, Acer tablets, and the Kindle Fire.
